Good Clean Motel. Great Price.

One of those little hidden gems. Newly renovated. Very clean and smells clean with fridge and microwave. All the basics. Breakfast is included at the cafe next door or coffee available at the front desk. Good burgers and other food at Rubi’s Slipper, 5 min walk around the corner. I’ve stayed twice and will definitely stay again when I’m in the San Louis Valley.

Woke up in the middle of the night by a horrible screaming fight in the room next to us, not having coffee available in the room didn’t help our morning especially with breakfast not available for hotel customers in the cafe until 7.00 am. We had hoped for at least coffee to set us up for an early departure after not a very restful night.

This motel is a little out-dated, but worth it for the price. Our room had a bit of a smell to it. It kind of smelled like someone had smoked in it at one point even though the rooms are non-smoking, so that wasn’t ideal. The staff were great! The free breakfast is actually at an attached restaurant, which was awesome! Definitely the best free breakfast we had on our whole trip! There is a playground within walking distance if you have small children!

Great Value

We always stay here when passing through. Great value for the money. Very clean. Good cooked to order breakfast included. Walkable to downtown and to the local park and to walking trails along the Rio Grande. I always feel safe here.

We had a great stay at the Dunes Inn and would definitely return if we come through again. Not a long drive to the National Park and it is a.block away from an adorable downtown shop area. The free breakfast was FANTASTIC! The cute little cafe makes your free breakfast TO ORDER. GENIUS!!! You have a choice between 4 or 5 breakfast platters. No buffet, so there's less waste. LOVE!

This place was great for the affordable price. The manager at the front desk was very kind and friendly. The complimentary breakfast they serve is very good. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only downsides were that the bathroom door did not close all the way and the bed was quite creaky. Other than that, we had an excellent 1 night stay.

Clean and Comfortable Motel

This motel is in an excellent location for the main street and visiting the Great Sand Dunes. The room was a fair size and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast voucher for the cafe next door is an excellent addition and they catered for my husband's dietary needs.
