Perfect place in a small town!

Although we only stayed for one night during our Colorado road trip, it was a Wonderful stay! The property was well kept and had lots of outdoor space to enjoy. There was a small canteen onsite with snacks, drinks and local products for purchase. Our room was well decorated, the shower was massive and the bed was very comfortable! I forgot to pack a few medications for this trip and had them shipped to the hotel. Lauren was very helpful during this process and even had the package put into our room since we were checking in later that day. The hotel is walking distance to several restaurants and coffee shops. This is definitely a great place to stay for a night or week-long trip!

The lodge has been updated but the rooms are a bit scuffed and are showing wear-and-tear. The grounds are basically dirt so it's dusty and dry. Friendly staff. Nice coffee and communal lounging area.

Mellow Moon was cute and quaint, with a retro but modern feel to it. Lauren was very communicative and helpful. Loved the Canteen, with access to a water refill station and anything we might have forgotten. Just a note for those traveling and staying here, due to the nature of the property, there are times that you can hear your neighbors, so courtesy is absolutely key.

Loved our stay at Mellow Moon Lodge!

This retro motel isn't what most roadside motels are like. The rooms have been refurbished and updated. The entire place had sort of a hipster mod feel. We stayed in a double Queen suite. Perfect amount of roominess for a family of 4 traveling with snow ski gear. Beds were comfy and clean. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Communication was top notch, always available by text to respond to a need. Service was great, always responsive when we needed something. Though not a full kitchen, we were still able to cook in our crockpot. Roomy kitchen countertop with small fridge, microwave, and some dishes/flatware. Even had a couple of board games and puzzles in our room. Del Norte is a great little town. Will definitely stay at this little roadside jewel again when we come to ski Wolf Creek.
