Not worth the money, very small room, cannot even walk a few steps. Very Pricy, Paid 150 USD for a night, not worth at all. Pricing should be around 75 USD.

Family gathering for a wedding. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was vintage but very comfortable . We will stay again.

It is an older hotel, and the bathroom is small as are the rooms. But I found it to be a nice stay. A good experience. Turn on your ac unit as soon as you go to the room and come back in half an hour and it will be cool.

We called ahead as we were going to arrive very late and the manager walked up thru the self check in. When we arrived she actually was there to greet us. The room is very tight but has what we needed. The charm of such an old property was the best!

The staff was nice but the hotel needs a ton of work. Rooms are small, poor HVAC, tiny sink in bathroom and needs some deep cleaning. This hotel has a ton of potential but someone will have to make a huge investment to bring it up to par for the price paid.

Friendly service in historic hotel

This is an older, historic hotel located in downtown Monte Vista in SE Colorado. Be aware that the hotel has only been partially remodeled. My particular room was comfortable enough, but not very convenient. For instance, the bathroom sink was really too small for shaving in the morning. Front staff was friendly and provided good recommendations for restaurants, of which there are only a couple of choices. Beware of the quirky elevator... it can be a handful especially if you have more than one piece of luggage.
