Old home, not maintain properly

I could not find entrance key info in app & it was challenging to gather it thru customer care. Home is ok but entrance gate had sharp iron edge, it could hurt kids and surely, this will need injection if anyone gets injure. We had three kids, so had to attentive every time . Apart of them, sunroom connected in backyard was messy. One room has very high bed, uncomfortable to sleep and it was difficult for my pregnant wife/ mother-in-law to rise on bed. Host contact info had her boyfriend contact who was arrogant. Locality was good but home is not at all good and very old. But on last day, we got host contact and she was polite while we requested to extend our check out by an hour.

What a shame to waste a property like this

What a shame to waste a property like this. Beautiful area. BUT. We had to drive around and ask where to take the trash and to find the pool. A map would have been helpful. Warped loose board on front steps. RUST visibly apparent on all baseboard heaters. Missing door on screened porch so space was unusable. Pots/pans were warped, burnt or unusable. Crappy shower curtain on first floor bathroom. Mini coffee pot? Really? For a house that slept 8? I read some of my same complaints in earlier reviews from a year ago and thought..Surely, these complaints were addressed? Nope. Checkout time is 10am. Which is the same time the trash recycling area opened up. Could not walk to trash area so we had to wait until trash area opened to take our trash there THEN we could pack up the car. We were late checking out due to this rule. Apparently the owner hasnt visited the house for awhile or simply doesnt care. At least the sheets were clean.

Meh

Nothing to write home about. Home is clean but VERY outdated. Not the place to stay if you’re looking for a lot of the comforts of home and some amenities. Nice community with a clean beach.
