Could not check out of room early

We tried to check out a day early but the hotel staff could not officially release the room. I called the booking party and they could not get the hotel management staff to refund the last night that we did not use the room. Very disappointed.

We attempted to check-in and the staff laughed and informed us cleaning staff would be in at 12:30 pm and our room would in no way be ready before 4pm. We had been traveling and needed to use restroom in lobby where there were bugs climbing up the wall. I would NOT recommend

Staff was great and room and property were clean and updated. Walls are paper thin, we could hear every word of normal volume conversations in rooms on either side of us. Breakfast was very limited and the worst coffee I've ever had.

The property itself is well maintained. I really liked the climate controls in the room. I also really liked the breakfast. Hotel breakfast offerrings during and immediately after covid essentially disappeared. But they've brought it back in style here. There were many items to choose from and nothing ran out.

Returned our forgotten bag!

We forgot a bag and didn’t realize it until we were 650 miles away. And not just any bag. It contained passports, credit cards, medicine, cash and a recently purchased defibrillator! We called and not only had it been turned in to list and found by housekeeping, but the gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to use his lunch hour to take our bag to fed ex. There truly are kind and honest folks out there and several work at this days inn!
