This is such a gem of a motel. Showed up on Christmas and everything was closed (predictably) but still grabbed a drink at the little tap room and loved the layout and decor. Passing back through on New Year's Eve and very much looking forward to it!

The staff were very rude. The room was not clean and they didn’t clean it while we stayed in the motel (3)days. My wife forgot her Apple Watch; her phone app shows that the Apple Watch still in the Motel. We asked for the Apple Watch to be returned to us and they told us that they didn’t find anything in the room. That is unacceptable

Great little staycation! Funky cool midcentury modern furniture, surprisingly quiet room considering right off Route 66. Comfy bed and room. Nice area, little shops and taproom. Great service with all things El Vado.

Staff was great, the rooms were in excellent shape and very comfortable. The tokens for free beer at their bar was a nice touch. I love the way the hotel was set up with the beautiful courtyard and restaurants, shops surrounding them. My only complaint? I had to circle several times to figure out where to park. If you’re facing the hotel, it’s on the left side. If you check in at night, park at the “retail parking only “. If it’s earlier, the area that says “parking permits only”. You think you can’t at either, but it’s the only place you can park. Besides that minor blip, it will be my go to in Albuquerque from now on.

The room was very unique with the logs on the ceiling. It was very clean and close to old town Albuquerque.The staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved that there was a little bar that we could have a beer. We would definitely stay again.
