Coffee time

Stay was ok, but one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way happened Saturday morning. The breakfast was available from 7 to 10. Around 6:40 I decided to see if coffee was available, as most hotels have it 24/7. As I approached the breakfast area, the room was dark, but there was somebody there getting a coffee. So I did the same. When I went to leave, there were chairs lined across the entrance that I now had to slip through. Turns out it was the attendant getting her coffee, but she had issues with me doing the same. I’ve had two different issues with two different La Quintas in one week. My money spends anywhere. I am through with La Quintas.

Staff were usually not at their desk to answer questions and provide service. There was no working bathroom in the lobby. Most of the laundry facilities were out of order. If you stayed multiple nights, your room was not cleaned. The ceiling fan in our room was unusable and was missing a blade. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was inoperable and had a cover missing exposing electrical wires to anyone who used the bathroom. The ac unit in our room did not function correctly and was very poorly cooling our room. This along with the broken ceiling fan made for an uncomfortable nights sleep!

The room I was given the carpet was very nasty. The bathroom sink had a trashcan underneath it from where it had been leaking and also very slow to drain. When the room next-door would flush the toilet, the water would come up into that sink. Left early as water was at the top of the sink and didn’t want to step in the sewage.

The room around the outer perimeter walls was not clean. They were things all over the floor. You cannot walk barefooted without your feet getting very dirty. I do think the place could use a really good update. Lots of faded paint in the room around the interior of the building. I do not feel like it was worth the price I paid.

Seriously AWFUL

The hotel is on its last leg, it was pretty awful. The bathroom had a ceiling leak from the upstairs bathroom (gross), it we weren’t so tired from driving all day, we definitely would have left. Stay just long enough to get a little sleep.

Indian management running property, The worse La Quinta experience, unhygienic, stained carpet, switches, toilet, broken lobby. Breakfast has only items bread, waffle. No eggs or any protein. Smelly and pools are not operational. Not worth a stay.
