Chalet Hychris is an OVO Network property. This newly-renovated chalet for eight guests has four double bedrooms and three shower rooms, two of which are en suite.

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

It's set in a quiet location in the village of Alex, between the busy market town of Thônes and the medieval town of Annecy. You'll need a car, but there's great road access to the Aravis ski resorts, and you'll also be able to explore the beautiful medieval town of Annecy, with its picturesque canalised restaurants, popular markets and lakeside beaches.

The garden and huge terrace are a real highlight at Chalet Hychris - there's plenty of room for children to run around and play while the adults relax in the hot tub. Enjoy snowball fights in the winter, football in the summer or enjoy a meal on the sunny terrace.

There are two bedrooms under the eaves on the top floor, one of which has a kingsize bed throw open the doors and enjoy your morning coffee with some fresh mountain air! The other bedroom can be arranged with a kingsize or twin beds. These rooms share a shower room. The third bedroom, a kingsize / twin room on the first floor, has its own en suite shower room.

There's plenty of parking at Chalet Hychris, and although the garage is too small for a car, it provides great secure storage for bikes, pushchairs etc.

Please note that the chalet is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

PLEASE NOTE: the garden is not fully fenced, so pets and children must be supervised when playing in the garden.



The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up

Escape to nature's paradise.

Well-equipped and very comfortable chalet in beautiful surroundings close to Annecy. We had a wonderful week's holiday here - hiking, paragliding, paddleboarding, canoeing, and swimming in the lake at Menthon St Bernard and Talloires. The views from the top of Semnoz were fantastic. Dog-friendly, although the garden is not fully enclosed, this wasn't a problem for us. We also made good use of the hot tub. We will miss the lovely views of the mountains and beautiful Lake Annecy but hope to return.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce magnifique chalet, très confortable, très bien équipé, et impeccablement propre. On s'y sent directement comme chez soi. Environnement très paisible et reposant avec vue sur les montages. Bien ensoleillé, du matin au soir. Le jacuzzi est très agréable. Notre hôte s'est montré très réactif à notre arrivée et nous a spontanément conseillé des commerces dans les environs. La région est toujours aussi belle et propose de nombreuses activités pour tous les goûts. Super expérience.

Superbe séjour. Le chalet est à mi chemin entre le lac d’Annecy et les stations des Aravis. Très confortable, il y a tous les équipements nécessaires pour y passer une semaine avec grand plaisir. Le jacuzzi faisant son petit effet après une journée de ski.
