The location in Alexandria Bay couldn’t have been more convenient. The yacht is right on the water and within easy walking distance of everything the town has to offer. It was spacious, had plenty of seating, and was stocked with simple necessities like shampoo, soap, extra lighting, fans, and more. We also had a great time fishing right off the back of the boat—we could barely keep up with all the fish that were biting!Unfortunately, there were also some significant cleanliness issues that affected our stay. The enclosed/screened back deck had a large number of spiders and was in need of a thorough cleaning. More concerning was a very strong, unpleasant odor inside the cabin that we could only compare to the smell of a dead mouse. Even with the candles and multiple air fresheners, it was difficult to mask the odor.The location and concept of staying on the yacht are fantastic, and with a deep cleaning and the source of the cabin odor addressed, this could be a really enjoyable and unique place to stay.
