With a large garden and private swimming pool, this villa is the perfect holiday spot for families or friends who want some peace but do not want to be too far from the action. The fully air-conditioned, single-level villa sleeps 6 people in comfort, with the perfect summer combination of stylish indoor and outdoor living that makes it irresistible. The open-plan ground floor consists of an airy seating area with 2 sofas and a flat-screen TV, plus a dining table and a spacious kitchen. The fitted kitchenette is well-equipped with an oven, microwave, Moka coffee machine, and a fridge/freezer. There is also a breakfast bar for quick snacks.

Large glass doors lead out onto a shaded veranda where guests can dine al fresco and enjoy BBQ delicacies. The veranda leads to the swimming pool. The sun loungers by the pool allow guests to relax after a refreshing swim. Beyond the pool is another seating area with parasols, which is ideal for sundowners.

Location
Set in tranquil countryside, with lovely views, this villa is an ideal base from which to explore north-western Sardinia. Sardinia’s western coast is less developed than the better-known Costa Smeralda and there are some beautiful beaches just 15 minutes from the house, including the unspoiled Spiaggia di Maria Pia (15 minutes) or La Baia dei Venti just next door.

Alghero (10 minutes) is a fascinating collection of architecture, from the ancient walls that encircle the city, to the gothic cathedral. A day wandering through its cobbled streets is a rewarding experience, especially if it involves lunch at one of the many, delicious, local restaurants. For the best and freshest local produce, a trip to the central market is very worthwhile.

The nature reserve at Porto Conte (30 minutes) offers hiking routes for all ages and abilities, through unspoiled coastal landscapes, as well as stunning snorkelling.

Alghero airport is just 20 minutes away.
