## Space

Tucked into the charming village of Odeceixe, this two-storey house is your perfect base for a slow, nature-filled escape on the western Algarve coast. The house has a warm, characterful feel throughout, with beautiful wooden ceilings and a mix of natural materials that give it a relaxed coastal atmosphere.

You enter directly into the living room, where a traditional fireplace and air conditioning unit make it a comfortable space year-round. At the back of the ground floor you'll find a well-equipped kitchen, and a private outdoor area — ideal for some fresh air. A bathroom with toilet and shower completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, a second bedroom with a sleeping sofa comfortably accommodates two guests, and a separate toilet is also located on this floor. The main bedroom features a double bed and air conditioning, and leads out onto a private south-facing balcony — a lovely spot to unwind. From the rooftop terrace, you are treated to sweeping views over the surrounding green countryside and hills: a view that is hard to leave.

The house sleeps up to four guests and is ideal for couples or small families looking for a quiet, authentic Portuguese village experience close to nature.

## Neighborhood

Odeceixe is a small, unhurried village sitting right on the border between the Algarve and the Alentejo, surrounded by rolling hills, green valleys and the Seixe river. It has a truly local feel — a handful of cafés, a bakery, a small supermarket and friendly faces — yet it sits just a short drive from one of the most beautiful beaches on the Portuguese coast. Praia de Odeceixe, with its dramatic cliffs and river meeting the sea, is only about 3 kilometres away and is well worth the trip. The area is part of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, making it a paradise for walkers, cyclists and anyone who loves wild, unspoilt landscapes. For a wider range of restaurants and shops, the town of Aljezur is around 15 minutes by car.

## Transit

The village is best explored by car, and a car is recommended for getting to the beach and surrounding attractions. Odeceixe is located just off the N120 road. There is parking available on the village streets. Public bus connections run between Odeceixe and Aljezur and Lagos, though services are limited, so a car is advisable for flexibility.
