Great stay - but not sure it's a 4* hotel

It's a little further away from central Amsterdam, approx 30-45 mins away but the hotel sits right next to Almere Centraal. It's a good stay in general. The staff are very friendly and helpful when we needed anything. The room and everywhere else we can see in the hotel is very clean. We have a family studio with a small dining table and a kitchenette which comes in handy when we brought back leftover foods or just want to have fruits. The room is fairly spacious. Another highlight is you can do laundry yourself for just a few euros. However, the listing advertised the family studio as having four single beds. It would be clearer if it just mentions that there are two single beds plus a double sofa bed. We were a little confused at first as we were not expecting sofa beds (and without linens, we had to ask for the linen and do it ourselves, not what I was expecting from a 4-star hotel.) There wasn't a restaurant in the hotel and the pool was not open yet, which is a shame. As a 4-star hotel, the service and amenities are minimal.

Good value for money

Very convenient location next to Almere Centraal railway station. There are good shopping possibilities in the opposite side of the station. The hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not included in the rate but it was priced reasonably, so we paid for it couple of days. The room was very spacious with two beds big enough for two people. The beds were comfortable, pillows maybe not so. In Dutch style the room was a bit cold but the blanket warm. Room day cleaning was by request only.

great stay

location was perfect for the event we were going to and had lots to offer in terms of supermarkets and restaurants. also the coffee from the bar in reception is really nice. hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful if needed. so much space in the room. bathroom was great. the only thing was the temperature control in the main room wouldn't go up so was slightly chilly.

Ideal location. Cheaper than staying in Amsterdam but the hotel is across the road from a train station so easy 20 min ride into AMS. A SPAR over the road so access to a shop if needed. Quiet area, quiet hotel. Breakfast lacking in choice however. Overall a good stay

Good hotel, lovely location

Great hotel in a lovely town outside of Amsterdam, with great transport links to the city. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and rooms were well presented. Snack and coffee area were welcomed too after a night out. Would happily stay again.

Very conveniently located on 2min walk from the Almere Centrum train station and 5 mins walk from the city center with a wide variety shopping and dining options. The rooms are nice.
