Nestled on a ridge behind the gates of Fontana Trace sits Half Time Hideaway. This cottage is conveniently located near North Carolina's premier outdoor adventures. The major outdoor attractions are not far from Half Time Hideaway: 3 miles to Tsali Recreation Area, 2.5 miles to Lemmons Boat ramp, 3 miles to Almond Boat and RV (boat rental). Nantahala Outdoor Center 7 miles away (rafting and dining options), Bryson City 15 mins, Cherokee 30 mins. If you are planning to come on your motorcycle the access is paved and the tail of the dragon is about 45 mins away.
Half Time Hideaway is a three bedroom, three bath home that can sleep up to eight guests. Indoors, the home is well kept and beautifully decorated. The living spaces are nice and open. The living room offers comfortable furnishings, rocked gas fireplace, and flat screen tv with streaming. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to make a nice meal right at "home." You also have the option to enjoy your meals outside on the spacious covered deck, which features a lovely dining table and a gas grill.The main level features a cozy bedroom equipped with a queen-sized bed and a television. Additionally, there is a bathroom conveniently located on this floor, complete with a tub/shower combination.
In the upper level, you will discover two spacious open areas, each featuring a queen bed and a television. There is also a bathroom on this level with a clawfoot soaking tub.
Down in the cozy basement, it's all about bundling up by the crackling wood fireplace for a movie night or challenging your pals to a round of pool! You will find a large amount of games or books for your enjoyment as well. There is also a place for kids to play on the vintage style arcade machine. This space features a private bedroom equipped with a King-sized bed and a separate bathroom that includes a tub/shower combination. The washer and dryer is also located on this level. Outside you will find a brand new hot tub.
