Charming cottage offering peace and tranquillity in small hamlet, ideal location for discovering Northumberland with it's many attractions, stunning countryside and beautiful uncrowded beaches. Every effort is made for you to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay in the well maintained accommodation, with lovely gardens and summerhouse. Please note, free on street parking is available approx 100m away, as access to the cottage by vehicle is limited. Cottage was cosy and well appointed. Very well placed for visiting historic sites of Northumberland and the coast. We enjoyed beautiful sunny but very cold days. Would certainly recommend this cottage and its location.

We had a great stay. The cottage is peaceful and tranquil . With a beautiful garden and views of the hills beyond It's a perfect base for visiting attractions, beaches, country side walks and the convenience of Alnwick for independent shops and restaurants Correspondence with the owners was great, a welcome basket was provided and the cottage was very clean and cosy

Beautiful DogDaisy Cottage

The cottage is lovely. Nice bathroom, good kitchen which is well equipped. Stunning garden. Comfy bed and bed linen. Lovely little extras like wine, tea, coffee and bread which we really appreciated. Just a little remote and far from the coast for us, especially in poor weather. Try the Running Fox at the Plough in Powburn. Excellent food.

We loved Dog Daisy Cottage, really well decorated and very clean. The garden is great and the summer house at the end of the garden was a lovely surprise. Great location for exploring both the coast and hills of Northumberland.
