Alnwick Castle, used in the Harry Potter films, and Alnwick Gardens are nearby. Explore the heritage coastline or visit Holy Island via the causeway, Bamburgh with its magnificent castle or Seahouses for boat trips to the Farne Islands. Less than an hour will take you to Berwick or Newcastle and a bit further to Edinburgh. An ideal location for that short break or relaxing week. Shops, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
