About a 2 hour drive from the national park. Cute town with excellent breakfast place (Scoops) and excellent grocery store nearby. Everyone in town was super friendly and welcoming.

They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable in the tiny container. It’s like being in a RV. It’s comfortable and convenient to lots of scenic views. Amazing how it is so well equipped.

The best place we stayed on our trip. Clean, great amenities. Kureg with a great variety of choices. Very comfortable and cozy. Tv was only minor inconvenience not having access to the various providers since we are not subscribers. Overall very good. Would definitely stay again!

The property was clean and tastefully decorated. It was also well stocked with incidental toiletries to include toothbrush kits, although I did not need to use any of the supplies the host provided. I used one towel as a floor-mat and showered with my own towel, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I only had one very minor issue with a mechanical squeak coming from the A/C unit which I solved by turning off the oscillation function. I passed this info on to the host and I'm sure they will address it for future guests. The shower had a nice stream of water which quickly warmed up, and the bed was very comfortable for either sitting or sleeping. Since the price was approximately 1/2 of what the Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn were charging, I have only praise for this location. It is located south of town, but roughly in the middle of everything and only takes about 5 min to get to any of the attractions in Alpine. It is roughly 108 miles from Big Bend National Park, which is an easy drive. BEWARE of Alpine law enforcement, they can be very nit-picky about speed or other Texas Road Code enforcement. Totally enjoyable stay, would repeat 100%
