A public bathing area on Lake Plau is only 300 m away and the museum village of Alt-Schwerin with its numerous restaurants is only 2.5 km away. The small towns of Malchow and Plau am See are close to Alt Schwerin.

Getting Around:
There are numerous golf courses in the surrounding area (e.g. Fleesensee).
