There were holes in the bathroom wall, severe water damage that was attempted to be covered by paint and mold around the bathtub and a toilet. The room itself had not been dusted, and there was debris left over from the last guest

Needs to be refurbished!

I don’t know how old this hotel is, but it’s time for a facelift. We had a large room, a “suite” I suppose, and in that respect it was nice having so much room. However, in my opinion, everything needs to be replaced, from the carpet to the furniture to the shower. I felt like the room and the entire hotel was clean, but it just felt old and neglected.

It's not what it used to be.

This hotel was always our go to place in Altus. Sadly, the place is not what it used to be. When asked for an extra blanket I was told "The didn't wash any". The rooms were never cleaned during our stay. The trash was taken out one day and the cans were left without a bag in the middle of the floor as you walk in. Glad I didn't trip over it in when we arrived in the dark. I don't know if it's short staffed or what, but they really need to do better. We don't plan on staying there next time.

Pleasant stay minus the smell!

The room was large and comfortable. I booked a standard room and it was very spacious. This would be a good room for a family with kids. Honestly probably one of the largest hotel rooms I have stayed in. It was a little out dated, but everything appeared to be clean and did not seem really run down. I noticed a few dents and markings on the walls, but nothing horribly noticeable. My biggest complaint was the smell. The second I walked into the lobby, a fragrant smell about knocked me over. Once I got to the room, it was even worse. The whole room and especially the bedding had a strong chemical smell. I woke up the next morning and felt sick. Once I left, the fresh air was such a relief. I’m sure they overdo the smell because the hotel is located right next to a Bar-S. My overall stay was pleasant. If I stay there again, I may just need to bring an air purifier!

Nice Choice in Altus

Very Nice Hotel We had a 2 Queen Bed Suite - Very Big Room - Beds were very comfortable Staff was very friendly Hotel is under construction - Pool was out of service. Overall we recommend this hotel - it was nice.
