The indoor pool was freezing

The pool was the reason we decided to stay here, but it was NOT heated and it was freezing. We could only spend a a short time in the pool before my kids were shivering. It would have been decent for the price if they had simply had a heated pool. Some of the other maintenance issues could have been overlooked because you could tell they were trying to renovate and update the hotel, if the pool would have been more accessible. There were some cute decorations and you could tell they are trying to upgrade and repair things, but there is still a way to go. Simply having a warmer pool would have made it rate better.

Our stay was good here and our dogs were welcome. This seems to be an older property and the rooms could use some upgrades. Continental breakfast was good but could have been better.

Did not like how loud it was at late hours with the grill next door, also breakfast was not actually free. Anything other than cereal, toast, & yogurt had to be paid for. I was as surprised as most of the customers that were finding that out that morning. Our room was on the second floor and it definitely needed some major updating. caught a glimpse of a few rooms on the first floor & those were definitely much nicer. We did like the outside of the hotel. There were a lot of activities for kids and for family time.

I have stayed here several times. Any time I'm here for work this is my place. I've had a few minor things i could complain about but life isn't always perfect and I'm not big on worrying about the little things. I'll keep coming back. A plus is the restaurant connected to the hotel. Haven't found a dish yet i wouldn't order again and the staff is awesome.

Every employee I interacted with was amazing and friendly! My 2 daughters(2 & 6) had such a fun time from the heated pool, feeding the “fishies”, putt putt and now their favorite…The Game room! Everyone was so polite and helpful when needed! We will definitely be returning every other weekend and more!

Charming

Hotel was older, needs remodeling, but was fine to stay for 2 nights. Has a restaurant in the hotel. Also cracker barrel is walking distance. Drove a tesla on a free hour test drive they offered. That was cool. Overall it was a 5 out of a 10 for needing remodeled.

Great price. Easy to access to the interstate. Staff was super nice. Bar was loud, but seemed like a great scene if we didn’t have to be up by 5am we would’ve enjoyed it. Didn’t use anything there as we only were there to sleep and get ready.
