Perfect stay

Beautiful stay at Brathay Fell with my baby, husband and dog! We all absolutely loved it. Great location and beautiful apartment. Excellent and responsive communication from Ross (Director at Tarn & Fell Escapes) who could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Brathay Fell stay

The directions to Brathay Fell were clear and it was easy to find. The instructions to collect the keys were straightforward and the process was seamless. We did, however, struggle for about ten minutes to unlock the apartment door but once in we got settled quite quickly. The apartment is beautifully decorated with a spacious open plan living and kitchen area. The home had everything that we needed and we enjoyed our stay for the week. There is a gate at the back of the garden that gives access to the hiking trail behind the house to get spectacular views over the area.

Brathay Fell

This was our second stay at this lovely spacious, light ground floor apartment .It is situated at the top of a sweeping fairly steep driveway, set in beautiful gardens.It is 20 minute into the centre of Ambleside via a pleasant riverside walk on the opposite side of the road. The apartment is very comfortable, we didn’t use the 2nd bedroom which has a sofa bed,but felt this room would benefit from thicker curtains .The apartment provides hand wash, tea , coffee and a small bottle of milk but no shower gel or shampoo.It did take us a little time to find the key holder and feel the instructions need to be clearer
