Super friendly stay

Fabulous friendly and accommodating staff. Incredible hearty breakfast options. Accommodation incredibly quiet leading to a restful nights sleep. Guest parking on site in the heart of the village. Would definitely return.

I had a last minute stay at this lovely place. The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was clean and fresh. The breakfast was lovely and it was good coffee (a must!) Great location.

Staff efficient and welcoming. Ability to park and easily walk in to Ambleside was very convenient. Room was small but this is what we paid for and it had everything you needed and was very quiet being at the top of the property. Breakfast was good and service was quick and friendly.

The staff were friendly. It has a homely feel, and the parking is literally next to the rooms so loading and unloading is really easy.

Lovely hosts, disappointing room

The hosts were lovely and very welcoming, remembering our names and very dog friendly. The cooked breakfast was great and they were very attentive, the breakfast buffet was a little underwhelming. The room was disappointing, and the pictures on the website seemed deceiving. The decor was very dated, and the cleanliness was sub par. The bath plug was clogged with hair, the towel rail was covered in dust and the mugs in the room weren't clean. The room felt unclean which was a shame.
