This is our second rental property located downstairs from our first. We've taken great care to make this an airy yet cozy space. Your space is completely private with everything you could want in a fully furnished apartment close to everything yet peaceful and homey. Our space is designed with you in mind - comfortable beds and plush towels and a full kitchen for snacks or meals. We provide snacks in the fridge on arrival - some kind of bread or fruit or granola bars or all of the above.
We provide the things we always wish we had when we go away like paper towels and butter and salt and pepper and a few eggs and a real refrigerator.  The wifi is fast and the tv is big and there's a reading nook for a little resting spot. We enjoy hosting couples and families and have met some really nice people and it shows in our reviews. We are very kid friendly with a swingset and sandpile in the front yard. There are several playgrounds within a 5 minute drive. Please note a 2 night minimum for Friday and Saturday .

Lee & the Kimball Downstairs property were excellent! My mom and I could not have found a better stay for our 2 days in Amherst. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of snacks, coffee, and tea — including fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. There were plenty of clean linens and toiletries, fast wi-fi, and a Roku tv. The extra parking was a wonderful bonus. We also loved getting to walk the property and see the 2 barn cats in the morning. Best of all, there's public transportation and direct access to Amherst proper right outside, plus a wonderful nature park and waterfall in walking distance. It really couldn't be more perfect. Would happily recommend and return in the future.

The apartment was perfect for the two of us visiting family in the area. The beds were very comfortable and it was extremely quiet at night. We really appreciated the snacks, coffee, and other supplies provided by the host. There is also a fantastic little cafe/grocery store just a 5 minute walk away. We would definitely stay there again!

Kitchen was fully equipped with cooking wear. The host left some eggs I did not make the eggs as I had not done any grocery shopping to have anything with the eggs. And I had no condiments. A clothing iron unfortunately was not available. The king size bed was super comfortable. Lots of blankets available which is great I run much colder than my husband. The little reading nook was my husband's favorite spot.The shower was EVERYTHING. THE Water pressure the heat and the beautiful stone. Again thank you for the lovely stay at the Kimball downstairs.

Awesome place. We stayed in a finished basement. Very clean, no bugs at all, nice living room, comfy king size bed. We didn't use the kitchen but it was well stocked with what was needed as well as snacks for us. Quiet location close to town and Mass University.

Many unique food options in nearby downtown Amherst. Large bed room was extremely comfortable. The small bedroom is as pictured without a window, great if you want a dark sleeping area. Lots of room and comfort. It is a lower level without much natural light but inside lights provide a bright atmosphere.

Great stay in Amherst

We really enjoyed our stay - it was charming that this property is on a farm, my baby daughter loved the chickens in the yard. Lee was very generous with us and we loved the farm-fresh eggs for breakfast.

Staying here was lovely. The place has everything that you need: sheets, towels, and even toiletries if you should forget anything. The owners were nice enough to leave eggs, fruit, and oatmeal, so I didn't need to go out for breakfast. The bed was comfy and it was very quiet. Would stay here again!

Quiet, very clean, clean sheets with plenty of pillows, soft towels with extra ones available. Eggs, milk, bread and butter in fridge for breakfast. It came in handy before I started tailgating Saturday morning. I was in town for a football game. Quick and easy access to UMASS campus. Quick access to downtown. Very easy check-in and check-out. Property manager responds quickly to any questions or concerns. Plenty of instructions inside to guide you through your stay. I would definitely stay again! It was a great weekend experience. M-I-Z...Z-O-U!!

Great location

Great, quiet and centralized location to explore Amherst and surroundings. Check in was super easy, apartment was clean and comfy. Didn’t get to meet Lee but she was wonderful communicating with. She also left us some welcoming goodies :) Would stay there again.
