Here you can fish in the mountain lakes and hike through the beautiful natural terrain. The nearby Hillestad Gallery is a lovely place to visit. There you will find a café, a gallery shop and exhibitions. You can also get local information here and there is a playground for the little ones. Hillestadheia is considered a snow-sure area, and in winter there are groomed trails and cross-country skis for hire.
