Service could improve

The hotel is clean, modern, and very comfortable — more American-style than typical European hotels. The rooms and beds are spacious and well-appointed, making for a pleasant and restful stay. It’s also conveniently located, especially for those needing access to the airport. However, the service was seriously lacking. There were long lineups at reception at all times of day, with only one or two staff members trying to manage the entire front desk. My room was missing basic toiletries like soap and conditioner, and to make things worse, the phone in the room didn’t work, so I had to go down in person to request them. After waiting in a long line, the receptionist assured me someone would bring them up. An hour later, nothing. I went back down, skipped the line, and she said they were really busy but would call again. No one ever came. Completely unacceptable for a hotel in this category. The ladies at reception were nice once you got to them but it took too long. Also, the bar took way too long to serve a couple of drinks that we wanted to take to our room. Check-in and check-out also took far too long due to understaffing. Lastly, while the hotel advertises itself as an “airport hotel,” there is no shuttle. Instead, you have to take a 5-minute train ride followed by a 5-minute walk — not terrible, but still misleading, especially since the train requires a paid ticket and isn’t ideal for travelers with heavy luggage or tight schedules.

Classy Hotel so near Schipol

Classy Hotel in a very convenient location to Schipol. Train is very simple to the airport or to Centraal Station in Amsterdam. there's a bus next to train if you need a 5am bus as train wasn't till 542. 4 min to airport 15 to Amsterdam. Room was spotless loads coffee tea in the room. Nice bathroom good shower. Really clean. Restaurant serves a nice dinner if you don't want to eat out. Credit to check in staff she got mean the room early as we had traveled 9 hours. recommend highly

I recently stayed at this hotel for four nights, and it was, without question, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a so-called premium property. The service—or complete lack thereof—was nothing short of appalling. From the very beginning, it was clear that guest comfort and hospitality were not priorities for the staff. Despite daily requests, my room was never cleaned. Every evening, I would return to find the room in the exact same condition: trash piling up, no clean towels, bed unmade, and linens unchanged. When I complained to the front desk, the excuse was always the same: “There was a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door.” This was a blatant lie. There wasn’t even a DND sign in the room to begin with. To make matters worse, when I requested cleaning upon returning to the hotel in the evenings, I was told by the reception staff that it was their eating time and someone might come later. Let that sink in—staff deliberately prioritizing their break over a paying guest’s basic needs. This is not just negligent—it’s disrespectful. It felt like they went out of their way to inconvenience guests, or worse, simply didn’t care at all. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable at any hotel, let alone one that charges premium rates and pretends to be a luxury establishment. The indifference shown by the staff, the lack of accountability, and the outright refusal to provide basic services show a deeply flawed operation with no regard for its guests.
