This was a literal nightmare! The room was filled with an overwhelming cigarette smell, like standing in an ashtray. The small fridge inside was dirty, and the bathroom was disgusting. The walls and door were dirty, the floor was rotting, and the sink vanity was peeling. There was no toilet paper holder, and the toilet and bathtub backed up, so I couldn’t use the shower or the toilet. There was no hot water, no iron, no blow dryer, and no remote control for the TVs. The couch looked like it had just been taken off the street and placed in the room.
I called Expedia to get a refund, but they informed me that the hotel denied my request. I went to the front desk to ask why I couldn’t get a refund, and they said they didn’t do that. The front desk person was unwilling to help me. I told him I could have slept in my car for free and had the same amenities that this hotel offered. He then suggested that I could move to a different room. I agreed, but he gave me a smaller room that was even worse than the first one, if that’s possible. That room also smelled of cigarettes, there was no table to put anything on. There was black mold all around the tub, and that toilet also backed up, and there was no hot water, thank goodness I only had to stay there one night. I didn’t sleep because it was the worst night of my entire 56 years.
