We’ve stayed here a few times and have never had a “bad” stay. This recent time, our bathroom door didn’t stay closed (it’s a sliding barn door style) as the lock was broken, as well as a bathroom light that was out. When we checked in, the key card didn’t work and we had to wait in the cold for a way to get in. We ended up being given the master key to the lock for the room, so we were very responsible in keeping that key safe. When we checked in we had less than half a roll of toilet paper and had to request more. The parking this time was also difficult as one night there were no spots left. Otherwise, clean, friendly, and quiet. I would come back in the future, but would hope that more care was put into the maintenance of the rooms. It can also be difficult to get a hold of someone.

Stayed here for a weekend at Disneyland and had a very nice time! 5-minute drive to the ride share dropoff. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. We arrived late in the evening so we were thankful they do late night check in. They answered all our questions and went the extra mile. The room was a cute mermaid theme and there were complimentary water bottles and snacks! Will definitely stay again.

We have been coming to Disneyland for quite some time and we like trying different hotels around Disneyland. By far this has been our favourite. It is on the other side of the highway, however it is only about a 20 minute walk to the front entrance. The room was extremely clean, modern and adorable. The complimentary snacks were an added bonus. The staff were super friendly and were able to accommodate a change to the length of our stay. It is a quieter side and we walked back at 11:00 pm or later. It could feel a little off-putting, however, there is security guards for the RV park along the way. This will be our hotel when we go to Disney moving forward :)

Horrible experience!!! Do not stay here or believe the good reviews. The sheets were stained, there were mosquitos and bed bugs!! Worst part of all the a/c smelled like feet. Had to leave within 2 hours because it was horrible. Requested a refund and never got it. Do not stay here!!!!

The room was absolutely disgusting. There was blood on the wall, and a smashed bug and shoe print. Towels and sheets were dirty. It is right by a liquor store and was super noisy also.

They charged resort fee’s separately from the up front billing, contrary to California law SB 478. I contacted Expedia, and Expedia contacted California Inn. Who claimed “City Hall” “instructed” them to charge these fees illegally. There are zero resort amenities at this hotel. I’m awaiting a response from the hotel to my resort fee refund request. Be aware of your rights! In addition to that, the room had cleanliness issues. Baseboards were dirty, air conditioning was loud and rattling which competed with the loud traffic and voices outside. Blinds were broken and it just didn’t feel private. Hotel office had a strong offensive odor that nearly caused me to cancel before we checked in and walk away. A friendly gentleman helped us get the Kureg coffee machine working though. Possibly the only positive I can figure.

The hotel is relatively young with a more modern look. Service was fine and had complimentary snacks in the room. The TV had a variety of subscriptions like Disney+ and Netflix. In terms of downsides, the hook and towel mounts on the wall were often loose and needed tightening. Also since the headboard and chairs were all cloth, it is hard to tell how they would clean it. The clean bedding and towels had some slight stain marks. I’m sure they were cleaned and are functional, but it didn’t give a good impression coming in on the first day.
