Central location is also an oasis in downtown Anchorage near the famous Park Strip and Saturday Markets. Schools and parks are nearby in this quiet neighborhood with locals walking daily. Live near Anchorages growing downtown business district w/ many restaurants, live music and shopping all a short distance away including Merrill Field, Sullivan Arena, Ship Creek, Performing Arts Center, Government Hill and the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. The apartment is fully furnished and recently remodeled with new carpet and paint. Full size bed in main bedroom and Murphy bed/desk in the second room. Dining area, laundry on site and free parking available. Guests can spend time outside enjoying sun on the patio and bicycles can be rented through the owner.

PARKING:
One (1) parking space is allocated to the unit and the space will be assigned and properly marked with the tenant's apartment number. The tenant may park a second personal vehicle in tandem behind the designated space with the permission of the landlord. No Oil Changes, or major overhauls on vehicles shall be performed on or around the premises. No inoperable vehicles are allowed. No Motor homes, trailers, campers or boats shall be parked on or around the premises. It is highly recommended that you always carry a comprehensive insurance policy on your vehicle. You are required by Alaska law to carry at least liability to cover damages to others. Snow removal is scheduled when three or more inches has fallen per snowfall. Make sure you move your vehicle out of the parking area so that we can properly remove the excess snow. Any vehicle left in the way may be charged a $50.00 fee.

A Coin-op laundry is provided on the east side of the building for the convenience of the guests. It is imperative that the Laundry be kept locked at all times for the sake of security and convenience of all the occupants.

We had a great time with our daughter who is stationed at JBER. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. When I booked this property I didn’t realize it was only a full size bed. Would have loved a queen bed and a little bigger couch, but we survived. We walked to the 4th of July festivities and had a great day. Thank you for hosting us.

Clean & Comfortable

The apartment was clean and comfortable but the walls were too thin. We enjoyed playing Risk. We also liked the location. We walked downtown for food, shop and took the shuttle to Alaska Native Heritage Center. I would suggest having black out curtains in the second bedroom.

Perfect location, homey feel.

Location was great for getting around Anchorage. The property was nice though we found a couple things that the cleaning staff missed (coffee grounds still in coffee maker, coffee pot dirty) but nothing dramatic. The bed was a bit smaller than a queen, more of a full, so the sheets didn’t stay on while sleeping. The room could easily fit a queen sized bed. As a whole the property fit our needs perfectly.

Good home

Property was clean and the location was close to downtown. A cab is needed or 20 to 25 minutes walk, which was very good. Had a hard time getting the code for the house and the laundry room. It should have been given 48 hrs before arrival. There was no mention of the home being upstairs. I requested this info a few times but it was not answered till a day or two before. Overall it was a good experience and a comfortable stay.

What I liked is the property has an office. I love the study which gave me the ability to carry on some work on vacation. The owner has done will in maximizing the space for functionality and comfort. So far I’ve referred the downtown loft to couple associates from ‘up’ north looking for a comfortable and reasonably-priced place. In Alaska we say, “Go for it!” The owner is kind and very accommodating.
