The hotel did a good job with keeping up on the cleanliness and the staff was friendly. However, the property is very dated, worn out, cheap furnishings and the location was less than ideal. The private security and steal fencing was used to provide security but the close proximity to the homeless population made it an uncomfortable experience. Will not stay here again.

The staff truly made the stay, welcoming, warm and kind. The breakfast was great as well and area is convenient. The rooms were clean and spacious. To get into the hotel after hours must use key and there was security which is uncommon for hotels we’ve been to but it didn’t feel unsafe. Perhaps extra precautions? But would recommend

Dumpster is too nice of a word to describe this place but it's the first thing to come to mind! There is no free breakfast but they never tell you you're going to be charged for it. It is good food however. That was literally the only good part of my stay there, and I sure didn't pay for it. The price is ridiculous. The staff is all temporary J1 employees from the Phillipines who don't seem to know how to their jobs and don't seem to care about the guests. And most of them live at the hotel. The elevator is the slowest junk heap I have ever seen, and the place only has 3 floors! And most of all, Reagan at the front desk is rude and extremely unprofessional, and night security Liska spies and narcs on guests but doesnt do anything to actually secure the building. Homeless people dumpster dive at this place daily and security or nobody else does anything. Building is old and worn down and in an extremely unsafe part of downtown. Actually all of downtown Anchorage Alaska is unsafe! If you go on vacation there stay far away from downtown. Thats not the real Alaska anyways. I will never stay at this place ever again as long as I live if I ever go back to Anchorage. Shame on you Four Points. Someone shoulf call Marriott Bonvoy Corporate Office on them. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

Even compared to other Four Points properties we’ve stayed at, this one is bad. Room 325 smells like wet dog, the toilet runs, the bathroom door isn’t hung correctly and can’t close, and there’s a lot of noise from the elevator immediately in the hall or the addicts hollering after midnight in the parking lot. Just not a good place/ except for the wonderful staff.

The Staff was very helpful and breakfast was excellent! For a "suite" the rooms were smaller than expected but comfortable. There were blackout shades to keep out the midnight sun. The property was centrally located to walk around downtown.

Location was absolutely excellent. Pretty much everything you could want is within walking distance. The fitness room was well equipped. Overall the room wuality was very good. Would be an easy 4/5 stars if not for a couple things: 1. The key card access to the side doors didn't work 2. There was no microwave in the rooms despite there being plenty of space above the fridge 3. The sun shade didn't fully cover the window and the gap at the bottom allowed considerable light in - which is a slight issue in the land of the midnight sun (a blackout curtain would have been more effective imo) 4. The elevator was extremely slow
