Overall it was a good stay except on the first night of my check-in. The receptionist called Alice was extremely unfriendly , unprofessional and unhelpful. She was rude and with a bad, uncared attitude. If it wasn't for her, would have given it a 5 stars. The other staff was helpful and friendly. Sally at the reception was very helpful when I made my booking in Jan. She answered all my questions. She is polite and professional, helpful. I'm so glad I finally met her today on my last day. Breakfast was excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Eva (or Iva) was extremely helpful and cheerful. Made the breakfast a pleasant experience. The free shuttle was great. I will be returning next Wed just for one night and I hope I don't get the unhelpful Alice at my check-in!!

Good alternative to Embassy Suites, which is pricing itself out of business. Homewood has many of the same features as Embassy, but with the addition of a full kitchen is the suites. Breakfast is the only feature that falls short. No matter. We tried it once and didn’t go back. We loved having real glasses in the suite rather than flimsy plastic ones, with a real dishwasher. We’ll be back.

Cockroach’s in the rooms staff shrugged thier shoulders. Because we booked thru Expedia they made no concessions. $650. A night and homeless people sleeping on the corner bad area of city. Never again. Hilton has gone so far down the hill.

Check in was at 3 and I was not given a room until 5:30. Me and my family of 5 had to wait in the lobby for 2 and a half hours. The manager was extremely rude and not accommodating. She was on duty on Saturday July 5 at 5 PM. The worst customer service I have ever seen. The room was ok- not very nice for $550 per night. I was very disappointed in the entire experience.
