Staff was incredible and accommodated each of my requests. Property is very unique - older and "old-school" and in beautiful condition. My room had a wonderful view and was enormous. On-site dining options are convenient and delicious.

Local Alaskan looking for a staycation with the family. We were looking forward to staying an evening in the famous hotel. Average check in, poor pool experience (not family friendly) would not recommend hotel to families. Over all not our favorite experience. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Valet staff were the most welcoming, pool staff not so much.

A bit on the pricey side but very nice property with several dining options on site. Located far enough from the train depot that you cannot hear the trains. Good view from the higher floors.

The. Captian Cook did not disappoint. Still one of the best hotels in Anchorage. Dinner at the crows nest was outstanding.

The staff is friendly . I was disappointed that the Crows Nest was closed . There are so many people in town . I had looked forward to going to The Crows Nest 😔 Why do they close during the summer and there busy season ?????????
