Ron, drives the shuttle and was the best! He was so kind and accommodating. He drove us from the hotel to the train station. Ask for him if there is any questions about the shuttle schedule, the front desk was not providing accurate information.

Definitely liked the breakfast. There was a different main ish every morning. The little bar area was a nice touch. There was a night or two that we went down for a cocktail while we waited for our Uber to arrive. The only two real complaints that I had were that no one informed us that there were no housekeeping services until the day we checked out when I asked about them. That is when the staff told me they were short handed and housekeeping is by request only. No problem. Would have just like to have known that from the start. Also, every bit of floor from the lobby to the elevators to the walkways to the rooms were covered in what appeared to be cookie crumbs. I’m not sure if this is a rare occurrence or if this is also a result of no housekeeping. It really appeared that there was a child with a bag of breadcrumbs on the loose lol. The stay was nice. The room was a little smaller than we anticipated but the view of the mountains was nice, the shower was relaxing and the bed was comfortable. It was a good getaway and definitely not something to be upset about. Just my honest review. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we’re in Anchorage.

The only thing I want to mention is the cleaning of the rooms. I didn’t feel like the bathroom was cleaned well. Hair in the shower, the top of the trash receptacle was very dirty ( which mattered because you have to touch it to throw anything away), and the hanging pictures were visibly dirty.
