Enjoy the comforts of a private suite in an occupied home with separate entrance and side yard. House is located in South Anchorage with views of the Chugach Mountains and Turnagain Arm. A 15-minute drive from the airport and immediate access to the Seward Highway to take you south to Girdwood or north to Denali, wherever your travel adventures take you. One bedroom with ¾ bath and a half kitchen with an induction countertop electric burner. Fresh Alaskan coffee in K-cup or beans to grind to suit your taste. Kitchen area has all the amenities if you'd like to make a home-cooked meal. This suite is also the perfect set-up if you're just needing an overnight stay. I want to give this unit higher rating. The owner showed real effort in making the unit a comfortable and relaxing place with a well stocked mini kitchen and bathroom. The unit is also clean and well laid out. The overall setup is done well and we enjoyed this portion. However, the unit is very prone to noise at night, including gurgling of the pipes, expansion/contraction sounds, and other sounds throughout the night, making undisturbed sleep almost impossible. If you are sensitive to noise like I am, I would suggest to take that into consideration.

Wonderful suite, felt so homey. Host has everything you need right there, even some chocolates to welcome you! You park right by the suite, so it's very easy access. Will stay there again, plus recommend to anyone asking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price while in Anchorage..

We stayed here a total of 5 nights on a split stay and it’s just a very comfortable suite with a super nice hostess! Everything about Alison’s place was amazing! The icing on the cake was our last evening there I was sitting on the deck and there was a huge bull moose across the street and he was magnificent! Do not hesitate to book this place!Alison, thank you so much for your awesome hospitality! If we ever return to Alaska I would book again!

I am so impressed with this rental and especially the host! We booked both the beginning and end of our Alaska trip here. Knew it was perfect within 5 minutes of arriving. Alison had helped me plan the trip with some good advice. Check-in was a breeze with the key code. Had everything we needed plus more. Bed was super comfy, several staples available should we want to eat in, and there was a basket of local booklets for things to do and places to eat, and Alison was the perfect host. The yard was beautiful too! Overall it was fantastic and very highly recommended!
