The rooms have recently been upgraded according to the mgmt. The facility is clean and quiet. That said, I don't recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. I have a prosthetic leg and also use a wheelchair chair. I specifically requested a disability access room on the reservation but apparently they only have ONE ROOM at the Inn that is suitable for a bothersome guest like me. I nearly fell on my ass trying to get into and out of the shower (it's practically impossible to get a wheelchair in the bathroom and close the door to boot). When I mentioned all this to the checkout staff at the desk they were not all that impressed or sympathetic to my situation.

The Puffin Inn was an order property, but clean and well staffed. My rooms heater wasn't working, and the staff provided a portable heater quickly to improve the temperature and comfort of my room.

The walls were paper thin; you could hear the constant traffic, the person coughing in a nearby room. The floors squeaked terribly. The bathroom fan was horribly loud. The bed was worn out, big dip in the side closest to the door. But the noise was definitely the worst thing to have to deal with.
