Just 2 hours from Manhattan and centrally located within the heart of the Hudson Valley, the historic farming community of Ancramdale allows for a quiet retreat, whilst offering close proximity to the lively, sought-after towns.

*18 acres of our field is dedicated to cultivating organic hay, which is grown and supplied to local farmers who use this as supplemental feed for their grazing, grass-fed cows. Due to the recent drought, the hay has not been harvested this year. Please excuse its muted appearance, but take solace in knowing that this tall hay also acts as housing for an extensive array of wildlife.

Wonderful peaceful stay

Our party of 8 enjoy a wonderful weekend in this home. Pearched on a hill with beautiful views, a great fireplace, lots of space and cozy beds, its a great place to spend the weekend. We had 5 skiers up early each day and competing for water shower pressure was tricky.

We had a great stay at the Casa Lobato house. The home was as advertised and the views are amazing. We felt so comfortable with our friends and family. It was just what we were looking for. The homeowners were very responsive, though we didn’t have to reach out for anything because it was all there.

What a wonderful place to stay!

The house was amazing with lots of space to gather. The host was very responsive and helpful if we encountered any issues. The house was well stocked and had cleaning supplies and pantry staples like olive oil, spices and coffee. There are beautiful hikes nearby and the host provided great suggestions of what to do in the area. The house is truly a gem and we enjoyed every minute of it. We will definitely be back! Thanks again for a wonderful stay in Ancram!

We loved the house and the area. The only issue was the air conditioning. We think it was controlled by a Nest and could not get the temperature to stay below 75, so it was too warm. I did email the owners about the issue but never got a response. Otherwise, we had a great weekend
