My small apartment in Anguillara, located in the "Residence Gli Etruschi" on Lake Bracciano, consists of a small entrance hall with a large built-in wardrobe, a kitchenette, a large room with a double sofa bed + another sofa that can be used as a bed for a child, table and chairs and a bathroom with shower and bidet. The terrace, in a privileged and panoramic position, enjoys a breathtaking view and it is very romantic to dine there by candlelight on warm spring and summer evenings.
Lake Bracciano is already a great attraction in itself: a beautiful, fascinating volcanic lake where, in addition to an infinite variety of fish, there are also many aquatic birds such as ducks, geese, cormorants and very elegant swans, even with black necks, which sometimes they come to take from your own hands the pieces of bread you offer them.....!
On the beach in front of the "Residence Gli Etruschi", in an enchanting dreamlike atmosphere you can have lunch and dinner at the prestigious "La Caletta" restaurant, renowned for its fish specialities.
The Old Town of Anguillara, which springs from the same waters of the lake and climbs the hill in a fascinating way and which on warm summer evenings is suggestively tinged with pink at sunset, can be reached with a short and simple walk along the lakeside.
The Residence "Gli Etruschi" is only 50 m. from Lake Bracciano, 11 Km from the equally famous Lake Martignano, about 25 Km from some renowned tourist resorts of the Tyrrhenian Sea (Santa Severa, Santa Marinella, Fregene etc.), 38 Km from the historic center of Rome.
The Castello degli Odescalchi in Bracciano, also famous for the sparkling marriage between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, is 9 km away while the charming village of Trevignano Romano is 8 km away.
The Anguillara railway stop connects directly with the center of Rome and with the Vatican City.
