For tourists it is a convenient choice

It is very conveniently located close to the airport bus, metro, train station and city center, I have to say that the furniture is not the newest but if you plan to visit around and not stay in all day it's fine. It has a retro vibe that gives it's charm. Do not expect fanciness, but the quality-price ratio is fair. The host was very friendly and helpful. For tourists it is a go-for.

This must have been a very elegant hotel back in the 1960s, but then the neighborhood changed...It's perfectly safe, but the upscale hotels are now in other parts of Ankara. I liked the beautiful staircase, the newly renovated, very clean bathroom and the helpful, very friendly staff. Very good bang for the buck! My window went to a rather quiet street. I'll be back.

We chose Cihan Palas because of its history and location. It's well past its best now but you can tell it used to be the height of glamour last century. The spiral staircase is impressive and there are comfy leather seats on the top floor terrace. It was lacking in upkeep, as shown by some lights not working in the room, dirty shower screen and toilet rubbish left in the fridge, missing towels and toilet paper. However the staff were quick to respond when we asked for supplies. The elderly gentleman on the front desk was a complete charmer and as helpful as can be and the young lady was quick to make us coffees and make us comfortable. Close to lots of shops and easy walking distance to many of Ankara's sights. Recommended if you can tolerate a few imperfections. Large room, good value for money.

I have booked double bed room with city view and thay toled me thay have only the twin bed with city view .breakfast should be at 8:00 am but i go to restaurant and there is no breakfast. Lots of issues. The photos showed a room with a desk and office chair. I got a beat up table and upright chair. Dust bucket under bed. Dirty shower. Main issue was no internet for 24 hours. At first not believed, then snow blamed even though it was fine elsewhere in the hotel. No offer for me to change rooms. On the plus side a couple of the staff were friendly, the bed was comfy, mainly quiet and they did store my luggage for me for a few hours at the end of my stay. But overall poor.

le personnel d’accueil n’est pas aimable et feignant, le réceptionniste de la nuit préfère dormir plutôt que de faire le travail ils ferment la porte d’accès à l’établissement et j’ai dû attendre 10 minutes dans le froid avant que ce dernier se réveil le service de ménage n’a pas été effectué une en cinq jours de séjour l’état de propreté, de la chambre laisse clairement à désirer, je conseille absolument pas cet établissement, sauf si vous êtes sans autre solution

Oda içerisindeki malzemeler ve genel hijyen durumu son derece yetersizdi. Sabah saatlerinde görevli, kapıyı çalmadan odaya girdi. Çekmecelerin içinde kullanılmış, kirli peçeteler bulunuyordu. Klima yeterli şekilde çalışmadığı için oda çok soğuktu ve verilen yorgan oldukça inceydi. Duş almak istediğimde ise şampuanların daha önce doldurulmuş olduğunu ve ambalaj kenarlarında lekeler bulunduğunu fark ettim. Bu nedenle duş almadan çıkmak zorunda kaldım. Yaşanan bu durumlar konaklamayı benim için son derece olumsuz hale getirdi.
