Parking amount of $30 per day for overnight guests. This was a surprise and for properties in downtown areas where parking is a premium would make sense. In this case it’s in poor taste to not readily disclose the amount as part of any reservation. Paying a premium for a unique experience is fine, but the expectation is that at a high level you don’t undermine trust in the transaction.

We have stayed at this location many times. I was really disappointed in the staff this stay, they were unfriendly, and body language made you feel to be an issue. No coffee available as normal in front area. Everyone was made aware of a huge Indian wedding happening, but it was a huge inconvenience to any other parties staying at the Marriott if not an attendee. Booming bass until 11 p.m. we were on the 7th floor, about as far from the party as we could be and it was headache causing bass from the music. Only then to be awakened at 8 a.m. by a saw cutting in the renovations taking place directly above us. We understood those construction sounds throughout the week but on a weekend, we were not expected to be awakened by the horrible loud sounds after a night of bass. Front desk seemed to brush off any complaints and truly didn't much care. I understand they are a venue but there are also people staying for conferences, work and other needs. Weddings shouldn't interrupt other needs. Shockingly the hotel wasn't clean through hallways and in our room. Never experienced that before. Not sure if it was caused by all the construction disruption they have happening right now. We have always enjoyed this hotel, with its beautiful lakeview, privacy and quiet nature. That was not the experience this stay, and it was unfortunate it was so many episodes in our 2-night stay.
