Check-in was easy & front desk clerk very friendly. Room is more than adequate, clean & comfortable. Only hiccup is it’s not as close to the U of M hospital, where we need to be at 6:30am, as we thought it was.

The TV did not work. The second room has broken tiles in the bathroom. Did not get the wake up when requested. The Worst problems is the pavers that stick up at the entrance that my Wife tripped over breaking her left arm humerus bone, over Twelve hours in the ER, AND STILL HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED BY THE HOTEL EVEN AFTER I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE. THIS HAS BEEN OVER 10 WEEKS!!!

I suspect this property was nice at one time. It was very noisy and hard to sleep as you could hear doors shut all the time. The fan did not work in the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom was clogged with ramen. The tub had gunk in the drain and hair on the floor from whomever stayed prior to us. Would not stay here again!!

One night stay in Ann Arbor

Hotel was a bit dated, though it had seen some remodeling over the years. Carpet in hallway, especially by the elevators on the 4th floor, was very stained. Room was clean, but had a pretty heavy musty odor. Breakfast looked pretty good. Employees were friendly and courteous. Pool was closed for cleaning (I guess).

When I aim for an affordable or inexpensive hotel stay, Larkspur Landing is what I want. The property is old and the parking lot adjacent to the hotel (for overflow parking where we parked all weekend) had some bad potholes. But those were the only downsides. Staff was attentive and helpful, the room was clean and well-kept, and the amenities were acceptable. I would definitely stay here again. For the price of the stay, this hotel does its best to create a quality experience for guests.

Great hotel

The hotel was better than I expected! It was comparable to any big hotel chains. Clean, comfortable room, great breakfast, great location. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool being closed when it looked like it was in working condition. I can't ever tell if sometimes hotels do this on purpose. The only complaint I had was that one of the front desk employees was unfriendly and unwelcoming, but the rest were helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean overall and I would stay there again without question.
