Do not stay here. Horrible customer service from front desk staff. Sheets had burn holes. Asked 3 times to have changed. 2nd time I asked I was given sheets to change myself. Weed smell is everywhere. Questionable guests. Yes it’s cheap. You get what you pay for I guess.

The room was in terrible shape. Replace the broken down patched up with duck tape chair, and make sure linens are cleaner (dead bug on pillow, hairs in sheets). This used to be a really good property....I was shocked at the state of the room quite frankly and was afraid to use the shower because wasn't sure it was clean.

The front desk lady was so sweet. She was very welcoming. However the room was dirty but it was late and we had an early appointment. There’s mold or something on the box spring. All along the sides. The toilet had old urine and stool On the seat and under the lid. The shower had hair on the walls and the floor had whatever that was on the bathroom area floor. I don’t know. This isn’t the first time coming here. About three years ago we were in the same situation late late stay over night just for a short period for the hospital appointment in the morning. We drive far away. So this particular room had vomit down the side of the bed and dried up drink on the counter. We switched to another room which that wasn’t better by far besides the dried up vomit wasn’t on the bed. This place isn’t strict on cleaning I feel. They may have meetings to ensure it but their workers I don’t think necessarily care. I think there should be a room supervisor inspector that inspects rooms before renting out. This hotel should be a business that rents by the hour not the entire night.

The room was very dated and worn, without many of the modern amenities one would expect, like the ability to plug in your computer from either side of the bed. The morning desk clerk was the rudest hotel employee I have experienced in perhaps decades. Finally resorted to dealing with him absolutely wordlessly, which seemed to suit him fine. Paid for a "Premium room", I cannot imagine what a standard room must be like. They advertised DirecTV, but it didn't work, even for local stations, They just stated it wasn't working, no further explanation. The only real positive note it that is was extraordinarily cheap, a reminder that you get what you pay for.

The Room was clean upon check-in. It was cold, and took about 4 hours to finally warm up, and woke us up because it was too warm. We had checked in around 8 p.m.. There was only one shampoo and no creme rinse for 2 of us, and only one set of towels per each person. We were in town for a surgery early morning at u of m so it provided us the basic essentials we needed. I wouldn't want to spend 2 nights in a row but for the price it took care of the few hours we needed. It was very clean and for a budget motel it was awesome. We would definitely recommend for a quick cheap place to sleep without any frills.

Reserved an accessible room with King size bed, when I arrived was informed that room was occupied, even though I had a guaranteed reservation. Was offered an “upgrade” to a premium room (basically reg room with a few snacks, nothing more) room was not accessible which was the biggest issue since I am handicapped. Weather was starting to get bad so I felt had no choice but to take the room. Next morning woke up at 6:30 to a non functioning toilet, went to front desk was informed no one could fix it until after 9, I would need to go to Panera next door to use the restroom. Couldn’t even get a plunger from the guy. Sun was bright during the day and melting snow had puddled on the sidewalk, knowing I had to leave early in the am for a Drs visit I asked if they could possibly put some salt down on the ramp as it was icing over, again told nothing could be done until after 9am the next day. Snow/ice should not be an unexpected thing to deal with in Michigan in the winter!! I have to come up every few months for visits, the location was perfect too bad that was the only perk.

Then room was spotless, one of the best cleaned I've been in for a while at the Red Roof Inn. And, the staff was friendly. When I return later this month, I'll take the key back (I forgot to drop it at the desk at check out). I wish there were instructions like hotels had in the past about returning the key by U.S. Postal Mail.

Paid over $350.00 for a one night stay. The place was a dump. Bathroom vent/ight roared louder than an jet! Outside light was burnt out. TV remote didn’t work. I stopped noticing things as it was ridiculous.
