Staff was very helpful and courteous. Location is wonderful, walking distance to the Naval Academy and to the State House. Great restaurants close by. Nice breakfast included. Only hesitations are that it's a bit pricey, and it was difficult to get the room temp under 68 (we were there in mid-November).

Wonderful spot right in downtown Annapolis. Understated elegance with many thoughtful touches. Comfortable bed and a surprisingly quiet room for an older house. Staff is over the top hospitable. Attentive and friendly staff. The room was luxurious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and spotless. There is hot tea, coffee, espresso AND complimentary whisky bar! The first floor i had the comfortable feeling of home. Stairs, no elevators, to the second and third floors. The parking onsite was secure and worth the charge. We did not stay long enough to enjoy breakfast but the chef inspired options looked delightful. Will definitely stay again!

Unique first rate hotel

We were shocked by the level of service at this small hotel. The staff could not have been better. Breakfast was cooked to order for us, very fresh and tasty. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spacious with great towels. The location is ideal for the Naval Academy and downtown. Great security system for the doors. Overall, just lovely. Only surprise was the price of parking, but I guess that is Annapolis!
