The apartment belongs to the grandson of Alfred Couttet, known as "Couttet Champion", who was born on May 8, 1889 in Les Rebats near Chamonix-Mont-Blanc and died on June 7, 1974. Great French skier, mountaineer, guide and photographer who imported to France the climbing technique and equipment used in the Eastern Alps. He founded the very first ski school in 1909.
