Bass View is a traditional harbourfront home in the fishing town of Pittenweem. Set over the first and second level there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms making this a great choice for an extended family or group. Entering the property a staircase leads to the first floor where there is an open plan lounge/dinging kitchen with views out over the working harbour towards the Bass Rock. From here, you can watch the boats coming in to land their catch and might even spot the resident harbour seal, Sammy. There is a spacious double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a further WC on this level.
The upper level has two further double bedrooms, on with harbour views and one which has an outlook over rooftops to the clock tower. The fourth bedroom is a sea view twin room. A large bathroom with shower over bath and a separate shower room completes the accommodation.
Bass View is a welcoming home from home, tastefully decorated with coastal touches. Well-equipped for a self-catering stay it is ideally located for those looking for a relaxing break by the sea or a more adventurous coastal stay with wild swimming, water sports and boat trips all available nearby. The East Neuk is well known for some of the best local produce from artisan breads to hot smoked salmon and a great selection of restaurants, bistros and cafes serving delicious treats from the local larder. There are several world-famous golf courses in close reach and miles of unspoilt coastal path. St Andrews is ten miles away, Edinburgh one hour making this a great base for exploring further afield.
