walking distance, close to sights of the old town

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel as I had booked quite late to travelling, room was spacious and clean. Hotel was able to meet request of a light and airy room for which I was grateful and I had a great sea view. Having said this I'm sure all rooms were of the same standard and staff were helpful. I would recommend this hotel to other holiday makers and would not hesitate to book here again. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Lets be fair., I haven't seen other hotels there., BUT., for the price and overall experience., I rate it 5 STAR., really good hotel., great pool., Free Turkish Hammam (CLEAN)., gym and friendly staff., loved our room., pretty much all rooms with great view., Everything is good about this hotel., even the location., close to the downtown area., close to Old Antalya., just rent a bike and you're good., no need for Taxi. great staff., the Breakfast is the best part... .everything was good about this hotel. really worth it. BTW the hotel is better than the pictures.,

Divan Talya Hotel

Overall we had a really good stay at the hotel. When we booked the holiday online we had the option of a twin or double room, we wanted a double room but a twin had been booked. When we arrived at the hotel, we asked if we could change the room to a double from a twin. This was not a problem at all, it was changed effortlessly and we had a seaview. Our package included a buffet breakfast which was more than satisfactory. A good variety of hot buffet, continental, customised omlettes and fruit, it was quite a feast. The hotel staff were more than helpful and their english good. The rooms were comfortable with ethernet cables in the rooms for internet and wifi in the reception, pool and restaurant areas. The location was fantastic, very central and walking distance to the old town, about 10-15 minute walk. We found the staff very hospitable and most helpful especially when I left a bag in the room and had already returned to London. We also had a massage which was very good.

Reasonable price for good quality

This hotel is good location. There is a silence part of city and a good private beach. Beatifull sea view from the window of room. The hotel needs a renovation, I think, for more attractive to guests. And prices inside the hotel is little bit high. For example, 1 bottle of water cost 5 tl inside the hotel and 0.5 tl in the shop. The cup of turkish coffe cost 9 tl inside the hotel and 3-5 tl in the outside the hotel. But beach and sea are beatifull and I like this place!

Not what I was expecting.

The only things that were good about the hotel is the view and the pool. It does not have internet tv and the internet service was horrific. I tried to contact my family several times on skype just to get kicked off as soon as I connected. The only chanels that were in English were MTV and VH1. The beds were hard as rocks and this is from a sailor that sleeps in a coffin locker. Even if I were ever to visit Antalya again, I will find another place to lay my head.

Very Disappointed

I decided to stay at the Divan Antalya during a recent military port visit based off reviews and photos this hotel seemed very nice. Well, never again! First off, this hotel needs updating. Stains all over my carpet, hall ways smelled like body oder along with being as hot as outside. A/c in the room barely worked and when I complained and asked for a fan I was refused and they told me no other rooms where open. Advertised wifi internet, well, in the lobby. LAN internet was very slow and intermitant. Also advertised internet TV, non-exsistent, TV was a small "tube tv" with all Turkish Channels with the exception of 2 english channels. Beds were not very comfortable. Best thing about the hotel was the view and the pool. Private beach is not a beach, it's cut into the sea wall with a small landing. Lastly, when asked for ice for my room, 2 hours later it was brought. Complimentary breakfast was good otherwise I will never stay at this place again.

Could be better

The location was good and so was the service but the hotel needs some maintenance. For example, the tubs for the shower were way too high. The swimming pool was the worst off all. The pool was surrounded by about a 2in sharp marble that was so dangerous because it caused my daughter to breake her foot. On top of that there was no lifeguard to watch my children. I just want everyone to know to be very careful if they have kids who want to go swimming in the divan hotel. 7/16/12

I would say overall I had an enjoyable experience. The masseuse was great, food in general was good, rooms were clean and reception helpful. Some minor remarks: 1. Reception + I announced my late check-in only on the day I was checking in but this was not a problem and the reception desk acknowledged receipt of my e-mail quickly and efficiently - Reception staff could brush up on their English and knowledge of the city 2. Food in hotel + Good food - 1 cherry tomato with the fish? And cooked vegetables hiding under the fish? The presentation of the food could have been better and some more vegetables on the plates could do no harm 3. Room + Bathroom cleaned each day and towels changed even the ones I did not put on the floor - Outdated decoration/television

Near the city - good facilities

We enjoyed our stat. The check-in and check out were smooth, the room was comfortable and clean. We had fantastic views over the sea as well as a mountain view. Facilities were first rate with a large pool and a beach area. We had a good choice for breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful. This hotel is situated only a short walk from the centre and has plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

Excellent hotel not far from the centre

This is an excellent hotel just south of the city. Breakfast was included in the price and there was plenty to eat. A free internet service is provided by the hotel although one or two of the computers were rather slow. Room cleaning was efficient. The hotel has dedicated taxis waiting outside and they offer trips both within Antalya and rather afield. We used the service to go to Duden waterfalls as well as Myra and Mt Olympos. An all day taxi seems to work out at around 300 - 350 TLR. Heading into Antlya it is an easy walk or a short journey on the tram. Hotel facilities include a swimming pool and a beach area accessed by a lift (there is no sandy beach but there are ladders to get to the sea). Both the pool and the beach have plenty of sunloungers, shades and a snack/bar service. Bar prices are very high but there are many local restaurants offering much lower prices. There is also a wine/beer shop opposite the hotel if you do not want to pay minibar prices. Rooms are spacious in the hotel with balconies facing the moutains and the Mediterranean sea. The tv has plenty of channels and many languages are covered. I have stayed in other hotels in Antalya and this is certainly the best one I have been to.

my stay very pleasant & staff very helpful however i noticed that TV channels mostly in turkish so can't watch TV. cigarette smoke comes through AC openings. I complained about the mattress in my 1st days that needs to be changed but instead a small duvet that won't cover the whole bed was added as a temporary solution it seems. wished there was an indoor swimming pool since my skin very sensitive to the sun & can hardly use outdoor pool during the day time. ı wish they allow us to use the pool @ night

Great view

The room has an amazing view of Antalya. Hotel Sevice was great and really good breakfast. Kindof far from downtown, and the main beach area. If you have the courage to drive here, it is recomended to rent a car and get and see some of the other sites in the area

Good location. Amazing views.

Amazing views from hotel room. Good location, around 5-10 minute in to old city. Breakfast was nice. Beach is a little sectionl by the sea (no sand). So if you want to laze around on a sandy beach all day, may not be the one for you. Overall service was good. Would have been nice if Concierge could help to recommend a few more places for dinner (and not just the hotel restaurant).

Divan Antalya, my kind of place

The view from this hotel is really the best! Service is fine, you feel that they try to make your stay a good experience. Also, you can start your day with a great breakfast at the hotel and then go for a walk in the Old City. I would recommend for adults, friends or couples.
