Holiday villa in Antequera – La Higuera, province of Malaga, Andalucia.

This coquettish holiday home lies in the countryside at 2 km from the small village of La Higuera, near Antequera. Its location, in a fenced plot, ensures quietness and a stress-free holiday so that you can enjoy an off-the-beaten-track relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded cities on the Costa del Sol.

Despite its construction being relatively recent, this villa was built following the most authentic “Andalusian home” style, thus fitting perfectly into the surrounding landscape. The entrance door lets you delight yourself with the splendid countryside views for a few moments more, before actually entering the house. This is possible thanks to the glazed veranda, where an outdoor dining area is also located.

Upon entering the house, you are welcomed by an open-space concept featuring a dining and living area. Here, comfortable sofas face a picturesque wall with stone details and a fireplace. A satellite TV and music installation are also provided in the room. Following the same style, there’s the fully equipped open kitchen, featuring all kinds of amenities to ensure the best holiday ever. From the kitchen, it’s also possible to access the backyard.

The left area of the house welcomes the four bedrooms. The two biggest bedrooms both feature one double bed and one en-suite with shower, as well as being decorated with the same taste as the rest of the house (rustic features and comforts). A third bedroom is also provided with one double bed, whereas the fourth and last bedroom relies on a single bed. Therefore, up to 7 people can sleep at the villa. There is one more bathroom, this time with a bathtub, which is shared among the guests of the house. Last but not least, warm/cool air-con is provided throughout the villa, in the living area and the four bedrooms.

The gravelled backyard is a dream come true, where you and your family will enjoy your holidays under the shadow of centenary trees and the parasols provided. First, you will find a covered BBQ area, and then, a lovely spot for “al fresco” dining, where all the family can sit and share their meals in complete quietness. However, the cherry on the pie is the fabulous fenced private pool, surrounded by seven sun loungers and a few nice parasols. An excellently maintained grassed area is the perfect complement to the outdoor area and, to top it all, the breathtaking hill views and the Torcal de Antequera on the horizon. Its dazzling beauty is exactly what you’ll need to acknowledge the quality of this accommodation.

The access is possible via a 70 mt-long unpaved lane.
