Lovely Villa, great family holiday – Easter 2019

Put simply, we had a lovely time in this Villa staying 16 nights over Easter. We were a very large party of 14 in the first week arriving in 2 SUV’s, plus a further 3 in the second week with a hire car. There were 2 families comprising 4 adults and 13 “kids” including friends and relatives ranging in age from 6 to 21. There is so much room in the villa that we were all accommodated comfortably. With the heated pool, its numerous loungers, lovely palm trees, together with the other nice facilities, this was a little bit of paradise for a couple of weeks. The pool was large and warm enough for us to use from early morning until late in the evening, even though it was only April. The Jacuzzi and the Hamman were used almost every day and the table tennis tables were a happy venue for many a game between us. We also played chess and the piano whilst recovering from our exertions albeit no one actually knows how to play the piano! The lounge was lovely with enough chairs for us to sit together and watch the Champions league football! On several evenings we also visited the local bars and restaurants of Antibes which were very welcoming for such a large party. The Villa has decent sized kitchens, inside and out, plus we also barbecued. Food was had sitting outside together on the large table, many of us with a cool beer in hand. The kitchen and utility rooms were well fitted out with appliances, there were 3 barbecues, along with multiple fridge’s for our drinks. We really wanted for nothing. We enjoyed Cannes and Monaco which we visited a couple of times. We also walked to the local shops and cafes near the water front and visited the marina. The area was very safe and the cars were parked behind electric gates. The villa is situated conveniently with quick and easy access to the local area but in a location where we were not overlooked and could play music by the pool. The owner Sylvie kept us informed and was very accommodating and helpful. Even to the extent of providing a pool cover to keep the heat in at night due to the use of the pool in April. Thank you Sylvie for being the perfect host. So happy we stayed at your Villa and everyone had such a great time, just a shame the holiday went so quickly! We look forward to the time when we can return ...soon. Until next time Mark

Home Away from Home

Stayed with couple of friends and had a perfect getaway. The Garden is fantastic with the Pool and the little pond. We enjoyed the location close to the beaches Antibes and Cannes. Alreadylooking forward to return to the Villa.Sylvie is a superb host. Highly recommended to stay here.

Wir waren insgesamt 14 Personen und konnten unsere Augen nicht trauen was wir vorfanden. Am Anfang war die Kommunikation gut. Alles in Englisch kommuniziert bis zur Übergabe vom Haus. Sie hat nur französisch geredet und wir haben uns konnten nichts verstehen. Das ganze Haus wir dreckig und unordentlich. Die duschanlagen sind alle alt. Im Untergeschoss hat es gemuffelt. Das Haus täuscht von den Bildern sehr. Die Nachbarin schreite uns tagsüber mehrmals an, obwohl unsere Musik nicht laut war. Nachrichten kamen jetzt auch nur noch auf französisch, da sie sich überhaupt keine Mühe mehr macht. Im Großen und Ganze nicht weiterzuempfehlen für den Preis.
