No personal contact seems odd for an Inn. We expected to be in the main house and ended up in the Veranda. Porch was dirty but the rooms were clean.

No way to control AC. Room hot. Standing fan supplied. Overhead fan blades dusty. Some furniture dusty. Room and Bathroom tiny. Toilet sketchy. Plunger provided. Would not go back.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The first two nights we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Convenient location. We also went to St George Island. Loved it there.
The bed was so loud and uncomfortable, if eith one of us turned over or moved in any way it would wake the other up. No support. I actually slept in the straight back dining chair for awile. Was so tempted to sleep on the floor. The DirectKey door app didn't work well. Didnt have good service in tje area. But their Wifi didn't reach where pur room was. Other than the 2 excruciating nights dredding bedtime, it was a beautiful place. I loved all of the antiques and walking distance to the shops.

Table lights shut on & off, fridge was dirty, didn’t know about the resort fee and $10 for key. The room was ready but a $25 early check in fee was a bit much…
No staff on property. Digital key app impossible. Peeling paint, dirty window,
weeds taking over. My room was tiny and not comfortable. Snower drain sluggish. General air of neglect. Would not recommend. Was expecting
way better for the price.
Little confusing to check in, but staff was very helpful and accommodating!! A/c worked great but not sure if there were independent controls.

We were given an address. This was for one of their properties. There are at least four. We were not told which one we were staying in. Every door is locked at every property. There is NO staff on site to help. We sat on the front steps of the address we were given for 45 minutes attempting to log in with Direct Key. After six tries with six different passcodes, we were finally able to open the front door. It was only then we discovered we were in another building. Where was it? We had no other address.
I had attempted to check in beforehand but the only options I was given were early check-in (for a charge or late check out, also for a charge).
We spoke to six other couples and all six had trouble getting into their room.
One gentleman told us he did not wish to use his phone to get into his room, so had to drive to some warehouse to get a key.
We were there for two nights. WiFi stopped altogether after 24 hours.
There was a coffee machine, but no breakfast.
Apalachicola is a lovely town, but our lodging experience was not good.
