Welcome to The Architect's House, a one-of-a-kind property located in the charming village of Neo Chorio just outside of Chania. With its unique architectural design & spacious, artistic interior, this villa offers a perfect hideaway for couples or friends. The location combines easy access and contact with the Mediterranean vegetation of a private area, with olive , orange, lemon trees, and cypresses with stunning views of the Apokoronas valley & the foothills of the White Mountains
The villa is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay, including two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with comfortable sofas, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, you'll find great outdoor areas of verandas, balconies, gardens, and private parking. The unique sense of space is created by the intricate combination of traditional and modern materials used for its construction: stonework and wood, metal and glass.
The Architect's House is conveniently located just 5 km from the famous beach of Kalives and only 23 km from Chania Old Town Center, making it the perfect base from which to explore the beaches and picturesque inland villages of easily reached western Crete. You can also discover the colorful, fascinating life of Crete with its multiplicity of richly diverse historical, cultural, political, and religious traditions!
In addition to the villa's stunning blend of style, comfort, peaceful living, and convenient location, a big surprise for our guests is the enclosed garage in the middle of the house, which houses an authentic vintage, 70's Jaguar.
The Architect's House provides a complete range of essential amenities to ensure a comfortable and stress-free stay. The entire house is equipped with a centralized airduct system, allowing for a regulated environment across four separate zones, depending on temperature preferences. Moreover, guests can indulge in our carefully curated and beloved vinyl collection, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to their stay.
Our villa is located at the region of Apokoronas in the eastern part of Chania. Apokoronas (which is often referred to as the "Tuscany of Crete" due to its similar characteristics) is known for its natural beauty, traditional villages, historic sites, and stunning beaches.
The region is characterized by its lush greenery, with rolling hills covered in olive and citrus groves, vineyards, and forests of cypress and pine trees. The area is also home to several charming traditional villages, each with its own unique character and history, such as Vamos, Gavalochori, and Kalyves, each one of them offering unique experiences of gastronomy, history and culture.
In Apokoronas, visitors can explore many fascinating historical sites, including the ruins of ancient Aptera, the Byzantine churches of Agios Nikolaos and Agios Georgios, and the Ottoman-era fortresses of Fortezza and Koules.
