Villa holiday in Crete August 2024

We had a wonderful week at Villa Solaris. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, as is the swimming pool. Giannis and Stelios are fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome, with home grown fruit and veg from their own garden, as well as their home made biscuits, cakes, wine and raki. The 3 bedrooms are modern and very comfortable as is the open plan kitchen and living room. There are a number of different outdoor sitting areas to take advantage of the shade, as well as comfortable sun loungers by the pool. The villa is private and not overlooked but is not isolated, and has a number of restaurants, a bakery and good supermarket within walking distance. Security at the villa is excellent, with modern electric roller shutters on all doors and windows. A fantastic relaxing place for a family holiday - our two teenage daughters had a fabulous time here and rated it the best villa they had stayed in. Thanks again for your hospitality Giannis and Stelios!

Beautifully Luxurious Home

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Solaris. Giannis and Stelios were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and were focused on our enjoyment of their home throughout our time on Crete. They provided us with suggestions of places to visit, and recommendations of places to eat. The home itself was immaculate and was everything the pictures showed and more. We traveled with our three young adult children, and we were all very comfortable in the home. The pool was tremendous, and we spent a lot of time relaxing there during the days and early evenings. This was a five star location in a really enjoyable location. We loved Georgioupoli and spent several evenings there. We visited Chania and Rethymno, two cities close by, and we made a point of visiting Lake Kournos, which is the only natural lake on Crete, all on the recommendations provided by Giannis and Stelios. We would stay at Villa Solaris again if we return to Crete without hesitation. It truly was a luxurious home, and was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Solaris war einfach toll. Die Eigentümer sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus war sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Der Pool mit Whirlpool, der Garten,... alles top. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Wahnsinn!

Wir sind zu 5 nach Kreta gereist und hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub! Giannis und sein Bruder waren einfach die besten Gastgeber, sie haben uns den Urlaub versüßt und uns verwöhnt. Das Haus ist genau wie auf den Bilder, einfach perfekt! Wunderschön mit den Bergen im Hintergrund. Alles schön sauber und gepflegt, wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Der Strand ist auch nicht weit weg und wunderschön, man kann sich dort richtig gut entspannen und erholen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und werden gerne wieder zu Besuch bei Villa Solaris vorbeikommen :-) Einfach nur empfehlenswert!

Zu Gast bei Freunden...

Die Villa entsprach nicht nur in vollem Umfang den Bildern und der Beschreibung, sie hat es übertroffen. Hochwertig eingerichtet und mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet um einen hervorragenden Urlaub zu verbringen. Dazu noch 2 Gastgeber die sich wirklich rührend um uns gekümmert haben und uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Dazu kommt noch, dass wir überall (Restaurants, Strand, Supermarkt, etc.)derart freundlich bedient und empfangen wurden, dass wir uns wirklich jederzeit wie bei Freunden gefühlt haben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !
