We stayed at this hotel two weekends in a row, using their airport shuttle in between. Check-in and check-out was easy. Rooms were clean and the shuttle was convenient with great drivers both times.

Nothing special, even for a suite.

Traveling with a toddler is always a rollercoaster so we settled on the DoubleTree Appleton as it said "soundproof" rooms which we felt would be our best option for our wound up toddler from traveling. Not only for us but for others as well. This was definitely not true. We heard doors slamming and people walking/talking just like any other hotel. A lot of the furnishings were borderline falling apart. The shower door did not want to stay closed. The windows were pretty dirty and gross. And to top it off, there were lady bugs crawling all over the room which was by far the worst part. The short walk from our vehicle to the hotel showed a lack of cleanliness with cigarette butts and trash as well. I booked a suite to ensure our stay was in a premium room but after this stay, I don't know if I will every be back. Will definitely be looking into better options in the area next time.
