Not a bad stay

Excellent place and newly remodeled. It was quiet during my stay. Their is a starbucks in lobby area. Restaurants up and down the street and just walks away. Only downfall is the ease of parking. This hotel uses a parking ramp that you have to pay additional $10.00 for. The streets are pretty busy during a business work day.

Very nice hotel! It took about 1/2 hour to check in. I think they’re a receptionist was new and had to get help quite a few times. Also it was a busy time when a lot of people were checking. The steps from the parking ramp into the hotel where in need of refurbishing the carpet was not torn. The service exit wasn’t working properly so I had to use the steps again.

Parking situation isn't handicap or stroller friendly. There are no elevator by the escalators / skywalk. You have to use the elevator in the ramp to go to the ground level and walk up half a block up an incline and cross the street. And the beds are lumpy and firm.

After dinner, I headed down to the pool. When I got there, I saw a chain and lock around the door. Person at front desk then advised the maintenance had closed the pool. I asked why this was not advertised. She did not have an answer. I asked for a concession, and she advised since I booked with Expedia, there was nothing she could do. What can Expedia do for Me? At 8:30 am, on the morning of check out, housekeeping knocked and was using their key to enter. I did not have the DO Not Disturb sign on the door, but why was she ASSUMING I had checked out. I was not impressed at all.

Event weekend

Great access to venue. The room was too hot the entire weekend, had thermostat set to 60°with no change. The vent fan in the bathroom sounded like it was eating the ceiling and then wouldn't work. Bed was comfortable and room ok. No microwave. Very pricy for room. Also in general nothing included and very pricy. Parking limited and great alternative with convenient access but $10 per day.

The hotel was alright but clearly needs some updates. Our hotel room door did not close easily. We really needed to slam the door to make sure it closed/locked. We came back to our room after housekeeping was there to find that the door had not latched and anyone could have entered. There was no closet or hooks or anything to hang winter coats, suits, and dresses. We had a lightbulb that kept flickering in a lamp. Instead of housekeeping replacing it, they just switched it off. They give only 3 pillows for a kingsized bed. There was a parking low that was close. We paid $10 a night to be able to have unlimited enters/exits. Bed was comfortable.
